CERRO LA PALOMA 4900m

Cerro La Paloma is standing at the end of the valley of Yerba Loca. You can ascent it in two days from the entrance of the park. The approach is through alpine-like terrain, with crevasses and huge glaciers. The ascent is a 400m 40° slope which is a good for beginning alpine ice climbing. At the top you can see the mining operation Disputada de Las Condes and the Aconcagua in the background.
