• Grade: difficult (AD+ to D-)
• Location: Curacautín - Conguillio national park (to Melipeuco)
• Start: depending upon snow conditions on the road, start from about 1200m a.s.l.
• Route: first 1.5h in the valley, then right-turning, later left-turning to prominent crest. The slope steepens up to 42°. Crampons are needed for final ascent to summit.
• Altitude difference: 2000m
• Duration: 6h
• Equipment: ski crampons and boot crampons, piolet
• Season: winter and early summer

• Remark: long randonnee in fantastic ambiente, one of the most beautiful parks, huge steaming crater at the top.
