North of Val Paraíso, there are three zones for climbing and bouldering: Concón, Cachagua and Zapallar. Sea has to be calm to allow the rocks to dry up. Don´t trust in any of the bolts, they are highly corroded. Some trad is possible, however, top rope is usually better.

Bouldering in Zapallar |
Offers only bouldering. Easy to find.
Las Cujas is a small beach next to the coastal town of Cachagua, 4 kms south of Zapallar. There are two trails leading north and south of the beach along the rocks, the south path goes all the way to the sand beach at the south end of Cachagua and has some climbing available close to the ocean along the rocks, the north path ends very quickly, at the end of this path is a very good climbing wall with many different kinds of rock in the same wall. Take a brush if you want to climb here, the rock is covered in sand and salt. There are more boulders in the granite on the south side of the beach, some are marked if you can manage to find the area.
Many bouldering faces of varying numbers of moves and some sport climbing. Easy to find, crowded beach in summer.
